We are a family home and love to provide a happy, safe haven for two people to visit anytime of the year and make the best memories in one of the most beautiful places in Britain.
We are located within an area of outstanding natural beauty and right next to Britain’s best beach and also voted one of the top 10 best beaches in the world! There is an abundance of beautiful coastal paths and public footpaths to explore the rugged north Devon coast just on our doorstep.
The Croft is a stunning self contained apartment with a private entrance and parking for one vehicle along with a secure garden and sundeck. It is a one kingsize bedroom with en-suite, plus a fresh and comfortable lounge, modern kitchen/diner with access to a private sundeck overlooking the valley to Dartmoor and then pans round to a beautiful sea view with baggy point and the heartland headland and out to sea.
Dog and baby friendly, we can supply a travel cot for babies under 2 with bedding provided, this must be prebooked before arrival.
With every booking with a dog you will receive and doggy welcome pack. This includes bio-degradable waste bags, towel, toy, dog treats. With a secure private garden you and your four legged friend can relax and enjoy the amazing footpaths nearby.
We have to highlight that there are footpaths into Woolacombe out the back entrance of Poole Lane and is all down hill, so would recommend our local taxi service for the trip back. We would not recommend to walk by foot down our country roads as they are narrow, so if you are wanting to explore by foot, please stick to the public footpaths and pavements for pedestrians and try to stay safe. On the upside there is access to our local pub ‘The Fortescue Arms’ out the back of the Croft apartment and down the lane, onto the public footpath, straight across the field, and up to to the pub. It is even downhill on the way back to the apartment.
